8 day loop in southern Kahurangi. Wild spring weather of snow, hail, sun, rain, wind! Kiwi calls, kaka and whole hillsides of flowering kowhai. Lovely!

I enjoyed the 1950’s era huts along the Mokihinui and was impressed by the massive gorge. Lets hope that Meridian energy dont dam up this precious wild river.
